Idea Overview:
What it used to be a hobby will transform into a small business, providing a new, eco-friendly homeware concept for everyone! Andruz Studio creates handmade products, using Jesmonite - a water-based, eco-friendly composite material that has the ability to produce very fine details, not only for sculptors, artists but also in construction (indoor use: from the smallest trays to table tops and outdoor use - from flower pots to arcades or even building facades). Andruz Studio makes products by handpouring the material creating candleholders, jewellery trays, desk trays, ring holders, flower pots, vases and table tops. We can also offer bespoke products that will fit anyone's needs. Our products are for your Home, Garden and Office.
Who might use it/where it might be used?:
Our products are made to provide a multitude of uses and for a variety of users - the possibilities are endless. Potential partners include anyone who will buy for personal use (home decor), to other small businesses (e.g. businesses that produce soap or candles), wholesales to big retailers and stockists and even for marketing purposes (advertising, corporate events and fairs, jewellery and cosmetic industry etc).
The Market (B2B, B2C or Both):

Why you think there is a demand for your idea?:
Andruz Studio provides a modern and eco friendly approach, redefining the homeware market, our products are made from a water-based composition, VOC-free (no Volatile Organic Compounds). Our business is offering Zero Waste, the packaging used is recyclable/ biodegradable. From manufacturing to packaging and delivering, we take pride and strive to make and maintain the whole business chain green, safe and sustainable.
Who would be the ideal customers?:
As the material is so versatile to choose a niche or to narrow down customer market, would be unfair. Our products address to anyone.
What ideas do you have to reach these customers?:
Andruz Studio will start by advertising online, via social media channels and dedicated e-commerce platforms and we will continue by building our new website after we launch our products. We have also researched and targeted many trade fairs (from our local council, to regional and country wide expositions).
How far have you developed this idea?:
We are now at a stage where we are close to launching our products, as we have already rented a small studio, we have created our logo and packaging accessories and the next steps will involve creating the social media accounts and start selling.
What – if any – feedback have you had for this idea so far?:

What a great idea 0- and I had no idea how flexible Jesmonite was. Exploiting the zero waste and sustainable opportunities is a definite approach.
