Idea Overview:
To combat loneliness, to organise a national sit out and have a cuppa hour. This would mean people sitting out of their front doors or in their doorway with a drink and being able to talk to their neighbours at a distance. Add in a music event through the use of the internet, no one need miss out on music festivals by doing reruns of previous festivals over the radio, tv and internet. What funding can do for this is make sure everyone has a outdoor heater to keep them warm outside, give people who don’t have outdoor chairs some deck chairs, and provide everyone with a staple of tea/coffee/hot chocolate to enjoy with their neighbours. Let’s bring the local communities back together.

Love this idea of of bringing face to face street communities back together (in line with social distancing). You could fund the items that the community doesn’t have to share/borrow and get some volunteers to run it. Definitely worth trialing.

Great idea. Very cheap and easy to do.
Until the coppers come and tell you to knock it off!
